San Juan Today!!!

Here in this City, San Juan (St.John's Day) is very much celebrated...
Though City Mayors since past haven't declared this an official holiday, locals took upon that the half of the whole day is considered a holiday(the afternoon to evening).
What happens is that most people would go to the beach or the nearest lake they could wash on. (Symbolically referring to St. John's Baptism of Christ)...
This Fiesta of some sort is like a "Wet" Day... people carry around pails and tumblers; place on the street water sprinklers to wet passers-by as well as tourists...
Before you even get to your destination you'll be wet...
This has been going on since 19(forgotten) (a long long time since our ancestors)...
Just one of the cultures of this city...
(Sorry if there were no pics for this event; I maintain the whole site including the mother site as a Power of One)
